Abstract
Port Miou and Le Bestouan are two submarine karst springs that are located in Cassis, in the Calanques massif, near Marseille city (Southern France)). Both springs are brackish. The water flows from deep and long caves explored since the 1960s. A project of water catchment took place in the 1970s but it failed and was abandoned. Exploration is still going on. In 2017 the cave diver Xavier Meniscus reached the depth of 233 m in Port Miou cave.
