Abstract

Readers will be introduced to a collection of eponymous terms in clinical endocrinology. The clinical features of more common eponyms like Cushing’s disease, Paget’s disease, and Addison’s disease and even less known eponyms such as Refetoff and Montgomery’s syndromes are reviewed. Interesting facts about selected historical figures in endocrinology are highlighted as well.
