Abstract
The effectiveness of a ROI analysis to establish the feasibility and viability of a project is driven only partially by the techniques described up to this point. As with any analysis, its power to educate and persuade is also a function of how well its results are presented, explained, and contextualized. In this chapter, we will explore how to construct and develop the interpretation and presentation of ROI analyses to maximize their impact on the desired audience. To be effective, the interpretation and presentation will need to be clear, organized, transparent, and realistic. Early on in this text, it was emphasized that a good ROI analysis leads the reader logically through each step of the process. A good summary and interpretation of these calculations does the same.
