Abstract
Understanding pelvic anatomy is crucial for safe surgical practice. Similarly, knowledge of physiology of menstrual cycle promotes understanding of abnormal uterine bleeding and principles of reproductive endocrinology. This chapter will cover the basics of gynecology particularly anatomy, physiology, and embryology topics that are relevant to clinical practice.
