Abstract

The multidisciplinary PI meeting is probably the most important meeting in a trauma center. This is where the key personnel who take care of injured patients come together to discuss the clinical performance of the trauma center and review deaths and complications. Most importantly, this is where the trauma program manager and trauma medical director can influence the other departments and specialties on the care for injured patients.
