Abstract
Transradial artery access is reliable, minimally invasive approach to treat many conditions that in the past required transfemoral access and hours of a patient lying supine. Transradial access allows for the patient to sit-up and/or ambulate immediately after patent homeostasis is achieved. The benefits of shorter recovery times and more same day discharges not only translates to increased patient experience and satisfaction, but also the institution’s ability to increase productivity while decreasing labor costs.
