Abstract

As a medical professional in advanced practice, the required curriculum of education and clinical training is mainly a general framework needed to obtain certification to practice. In the field of radiology as an advanced practitioner much of the training for the role is provided with the supervision of the radiologists while performing the daily clinical and procedural responsibilities. The goal of the chapter is to provide more information regarding several advanced provider roles in radiology while aiming to entice more professionals to join the continuously evolving field of radiology.
