Abstract
Endoleak type II is the most frequent type of endoleak occurring after endovascular aortic aneurysm repair. This type of endoleak usually does not require treatment, but in the case of abdominal aortic aneurysm enlargement, treatment is indicated. Endoleak type II can occur early and late, and a late endoleak usually causes aneurysm enlargement, which requires treatment. There is still no uniform recommendation on how to approach these endoleaks and when to treat them. Our approach is to treat an endoleak type II if the aneurysm has enlarged by >5 mm. Treatment of an endoleak type II can be very challenging.
