Abstract

The deformation mechanism of soft rocks can be divided into three categories: physical and chemical expansion mechanism, stress dilatancy mechanism, and structural deformation mechanism. The deformation mechanism of soft rock roadway in mines is usually complex, often a combination of three or more types. The key technology for roadway support is also provided.
