Abstract
Every physician finds themselves in a position of managing people whether that be office personnel, junior associates, or even patients. To effectively manage people, you must be an effective leader. This chapter will discuss the principles of effective leadership and how to use leadership skills to modify behavior, create teams, and focus on measurable outcomes. Finally, this chapter will discuss how to provide feedback and how to terminate an employee.
