Abstract

The three parts of a legal contract are offer, acceptance, and consideration. Understanding contracts is an important part of a negotiation. The most important aspect of any successful negotiation is to have information that allows you to negotiate from a position of strength. This chapter will discuss basic physician contracts and negotiating skills necessary to ensure the best outcome when negotiating a contract.
