Abstract
Residents of senior cohousing communities readily speak of the benefits they’ve experienced while living in a SCC. However, they also openly acknowledge the challenges that they and their particular communities have confronted. When asked in what ways, if any, they have grown as a result of living in senior cohousing, the residents’ responses reflect their experiences of embracing both the advantages and the struggles that are inherent in this particular type of housing venture.
