An Integrated Model of Healthcare Facility Location and Equipment Allocation

Abstract

This study aims at locating Medical Specialties Centers’ (MSCs) and allocates medical equipment to meet maximal demand for secondary public healthcare. Therefore, we propose an integrated model addressing both problems simultaneously, optimizing resource usage. As a result, we expect to contribute to the long-term healthcare planning.
