Abstract
In this present chapter “Gas hydrate scenario in India” an effort has been put together to study the clathrate hydrate system in India. The pioneering agency from India and US collaborated and discovered the hydrate reserves in India. Various expedition from 2006 to 2015 has been conducted to through study the exact location of these reserves in deep sea waters. New technologies has been identified to drill these reserves and attempts are going to avail these energy resources to the common man.
