Abstract

Brain oedema, seizures, intracranial haemorrhage, ischemic infarction, and cranial nerve palsies are some of the common neurologic complications encountered in the postoperative period. Some of these complications are life-threatening. Frequent clinical examinations and diagnostic imaging studies are required to recognise these complications in time. Immediate management minimises the damage done to the patient.
