Abstract
Lymphocytic infiltrates with prominent involvement of the subcutaneous adipose tissue occur in some entities such as lupus erythematosus panniculitis (LEP), subcutaneous panniculitis-like T-cell lymphoma, and some cases of gamma-delta T-cell lymphoma. Since these entities show marked differences in prognosis, proper classification is critical.
