Abstract
Eyelid tumors, or neoplasms, can develop within any structure of the eyelid. The eyelid examination, including structure and function, is important in determining if further studies and/or biopsy are warranted. In addition, the patient’s history including onset and rate of progression and symptoms can give clues to the etiology. If an eyelid lesion is suspicious, there should be a low threshold to biopsy.
