Abstract
The adaptive control laws of the previous chapter assumed distributed measurements, which are rarely available in practice. This chapter presents adaptive output-feedback control laws for system (7.4) with an uncertain parameter q in the boundary condition anti-collocated with actuation. Only one boundary measurement is assumed available, and designs for both sensing collocated with actuation and anti-collocated with actuation are presented, since they require significantly different analysis.
