Abstract

This chapter presents experimental results for the radial profiles of the plasma potential measured by the HIBP diagnostic in the TM-4 and T-10 tokamaks, and in the TJ-II stellarator. We compare our measurements with theoretical estimations and present a comparative study of the behavior of the quasi-stationary plasma potential profiles in these different devices with other tokamaks and stellarators, in which HIBP data are available.
