Non-compaction du ventricule gauche. Apport de l’échocardiographie

Résumé

La non-compaction isolée du ventricule gauche (NCVG) est une cause rare de cardiomyopathie, supposée résulter de l’arrêt de l’embryogenèse normale du myocarde et caractérisée par la persistance de trabéculations ventriculaires proéminentes séparées par des récessus profonds [1]. La NCVG serait la conséquence d’un arrêt du phénomène embryologique de compaction progressive du myocarde ventriculaire, qui se produit normalement entre la 5e et la 8e semaine, provoquant la persistance, à des degrés divers, de trabéculations proéminentes et de profonds espaces intertrabéculaires [2]. Par ailleurs, la présence de nombreux cas de NCVG familiales plaide en faveur d’une origine génétique de la maladie [2].
