Résumé

Les lésions frontières du sein sont définies comme les lésions prénéoplasiques du sein et qui, laissées en place, évolueraient spontanément vers des lésions néoplasiques vraies. Ces lésions sont aussi les « sentinelles » de lésions plus péjoratives lorsqu’elles sont mises en évidence sur des biopsies à l’aiguille [1]. Ces lésions se développent dans les unités ductulo-terminales et sont le plus souvent révélées par des microcalcifications. La généralisation du dépistage mammographique a donc entraînéquence. Sont identifiées d’une part les maladies de type canalaire avec les lésions de métaplasie cylindrique atypique et l’hyperplasie canalaire atypique et d’autre part les néoplasies lobulaires in situ : hyperplasie lobulaire atypique et carcinome lobulaire atypique.
