Résumé

Les techniques de résection pulmonaire majeure vidéo-assistée sont encore peu répandues. Cependant, l’intérêt est croissant depuis la publication de grandes séries rapportant de bons résultats. Il devient de plus en plus évident que les lobectomies pulmonaires peuvent être réalisées de façon sûre avec une morbidité moindre que par thoracotomie et avec les mêmes résultats oncologiques. Récemment, une analyse multivariée de 21 séries de lobectomies vidéo-assistées pour cancer bronchique de stade précoce a montré qu’elles se comparaient favorablement aux lobectomies à thorax ouvert, non seulement en termes de morbidité mais aussi en termes de survie.
