Abstrait

Le cancer du sein métastatique est considéré comme une maladie incurable (1, 2). Après le diagnostic, la survie globale à 5 ans n’excède pas 20 % pour la plupart des patientes (3). L’approche thérapeutique est purement palliative et consiste en une association de différents traitements systémiques, tels que la chimiothérapie, l’hormonothérapie, les thérapies ciblées... dont l’objectif principal est de prolonger la survie (4)–(6). La chirurgie d’exérèse des métastases a une indication limitée dans le traitement de patientes sélectionnées (7)–(11).
