Les diabètes insipides sont rares au cours de la grossesse; il peut s’agir ďune patiente déjà connue pour diabète insipide chez qui une grossesse survient, ďun diabète insipide qui débute pendant la gestation et disparaît après l’accouchement ou ďun diabète insipide central comme première manifestation ďune pathologie posthypophysaire identifiée au cours de la grossesse. Ces entités sont maintenant bien décrites et les phénomènes physiopathologiques responsables des diabètes insipides survenant exclusivement pendant la grossesse sont maintenant bien connus.
