Abstract

Making an accurate and expeditious diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) is important to allow the timely institution of disease-modifying therapy. Accurate diagnosis also removes uncertainty, and allows informed career and family planning. However, with the push to make the diagnosis early, there is increased risk of misdiagnosis.
