Abstract

In this chapter, we describe the 3D TEE anatomy of the atria, anatomical variants, and some examples of pathology. The coronary sinus (CS) will be described together with the right atrium, given its anatomical and functional proximity. The atrial septum, which is the medial wall of both atria, because of its anatomical and pathological peculiarities, has been described in Chap. 6.
