Abstract

In this chapter, the individual QoS criteria are revisited and dealt with in more detail. They are presented in the form of descriptions with associated flowcharts (see Fig. 5.1) and guidelines on where to look next or disqualify a system. First, the qualitative exclusive criteria are considered, since they offer the easiest way of reasoning on rejecting systems in case they do not comply with specified requirements. If the latter are partly fulfilled, the appropriate qualitative gradual or quantitative criteria are checked in order to determine whether the degree of compliance is sufficient or not.
