Abstract
In this chapter, an overview is given of how diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) can be used to perform the reconstruction of three-dimensional white matter tracts. This chapter includes a brief description of the method and the applied measurement protocol. It also contains a section on two-dimensional anatomical views of DTI-derived fiber trajectories in all three standard radiological views using color maps and concludes with a three-dimensional representation of the major white matter tracts in the human cerebrum.
