Abstract
The latest management guidelines for management of glandular lesions identified on cervical cytology and histology from the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology are summarized with an emphasis on a logical stepwise approach to work-up. The guidelines are subdivided according to the subcategorization of atypical glandular cells on cytology. Suggestions for continuous quality improvement by cytologists in the work-up of glandular lesions of the cervix are provided.
