Abstract
This theory is concerned with maladaptive behaviour that occurs as a result of living and life events, and does not include cases that are produced by various sorts of brain injury. It has been developed by analyzing the numerous cases of observed and experimentally induced maladaptive behavior in non-human animals. Perhaps the most thoroughly researched of all these is that of the audiogenic seizure in mice.
