Abstract
The previous three chapters are concerned with the cases in which Bienaymé has written a group of papers around a theme, or in a specific area. Those of his contributions in probability and statistics that do not fit within such a framework are discussed in this chapter. Other miscellanea are discussed in Chapter 6.
There is no national science just as there is no national multiplication table; what is national is no longer science.
