Abstract
In Egypt the amounts of pesticides required for crop protection from destructive pest species, especially those causing damage to cotton, are available partly from imports and partly from local industry (Tables I and II). Government investments in the latter, which employs more than 400 people, amount to about one million Eg.L. (= U.S. $ 2.4 million).
