Abstract

The Thue-Morse sequence may be defined in a number of ways (Hershey, 1979). Let us look first at a direct construction. Suppose we have a regular binary counting counter in binary, using plus and minus ones and started from zero. The Thue-Morse sequence, Θ, is the product of the counter stage contents as shown in Figure 18.
