Abstract

The clonal analysis of immune response to autologous tumors has indicated that CTLs expressing the αβ-type of TcR and able to lyse autologous neoplastic cells can be grouped in two main functional subsets on the basis of the specificity and mechanism of lymphocyte-tumor interaction (Anichini et al., 1987).
