Abstract
This book does not attempt to provide elaborate concepts of so-called intelligent tutoring systems nor provide a comprehensive treatment of the state of the art in learner modeling. Rather, the authoring/learning environments presented in Parts II through IV of the book intend to provide enabling technology for the integration of whatever student model is preferred. On the other hand, the subject shall not be left out. Thus, a (kind of default) solution for student assessment and course evaluation is described in this chapter.
