Abstract
Gamma Knife radiosurgery has been in use for over 50 years. Compared to other stereotactic machines, there are relatively few Gamma Knife centers in the world. Therefore, training usually requires visiting an existing, well-established center. Nurses have been valuable team members from the beginning. A smooth flow, from the initial consultation through the post procedure is necessary to ensure patient and staff satisfaction.
