Abstract
The final resource for input for research needs and priorities was a one-day workshop held on September 8, 2011 at the NIST facilities in Gaithersburg, MD. Invited participants included all those who provided input to the literature review and community input steps described above. Appendix A is the full report of that workshop, including attendance, agenda and full input from all participants. Workshop participants formed three groups to discuss steel, concrete and general large system interaction research needs and a rich description of this discussion is included in the Appendix. Technology transfer and collaborative mechanisms for research were also discussed.
