Abstract
The differential diagnosis, pertinent history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies related to pediatric inguinal hernia, neonatal bowel obstruction, pyloric stenosis, tracheoesophageal fistula, VACTERL (vertebral defects, anal atresia, cardiac defects, tracheoesophageal fistula, renal anomalies, and limb abnormalities atresia, malrotation, and Ladd’s bands are reviewed. We also include the appropriate surgical treatment, common curveballs, and clean kill answers when dealing with questions on the oral boards.
