Abstract
In this chapter, some basic concepts of mathematical logic are presented as well as the fundamental methods used for problem-solving. In particular, a discussion of proofs by Analysis, Synthesis, Contradiction, and Mathematical Induction are discussed. These methods are explained by specific enlightening examples.
Where there is matter, there is geometry.
