Abstract
The Moon landings came to a sudden end. We have not been back since the last Apollo mission. But the relationship between Earth and the Moon is just too close to allow for the impossibility of return. We talk about it, send probes to map it and even smash things into it. They are all good science, for sure. They are also ways of keeping the connection alive.
