Abstract
Women taking HT may experience symptoms related to estrogen excess. Symptoms include nausea, weight gain, breast tenderness, and enlargement. Other symptoms include premenstrual syndrome and heavier or light menstrual bleeding. Intermenstrual spotting may occur with continuous estradiol and progesterone.
