Abstract

This chapter describes four exercises that are suitable for a 1-h class period. They are (1) developing a procedure for meat discrimination tests (2) and exercise in probability, the binomial distribution, and the null hypothesis; (3) developing a consumer questionnaire for a military field ration; and (4) fitting time-dependent data to estimate shelf life.
