Abstract
As you begin getting ready for your imaging session, the first step (after the planning phase) will be to set up your equipment. Although this is a pretty straightforward process, there are several options and choices you will have to make at this step. In order to maximize your time imaging, you will need to know how to set up your equipment quickly and correctly so you can take advantage of every opportunity to take the best images possible. This includes not only setting up your telescope in the most advantageous way, but also setting up your CCD camera and the related hardware for your imaging train in the most effective manner.
