Abstract

Chronic GERD unresponsive to medical treatment. Chronic GERD in patients desiring discontinuation of medical therapy. Aspiration. Complications of GERD not responding to medical therapy. Barrett’s esophagus. Esophagitis. Stricture. Paraesophageal hernia with GERD. Children with severe esophagitis, pulmonary compromise, or failure to thrive.
