Abstract
The latter portion of the 20th Century finds dental education assuming a “catch-up” posture in yet another arena. The electronic storage, synthesis, and distribution of information has instituted a revolution in how the world functions, but schools of dentistry, not unlike other professional schools, have been slow to join this revolution and exploit its potential for enhancing the process of educating dental practitioners.
