Abstract
The purpose of Part II is to review options that have proven useful in the treatment of excessive stress arousal. This chapter begins that discussion with an issue relevant to treatment planning—the role of personality in the etiology and treatment of the human stress response.
Where malignant disease is concerned it may be more important to understand what kind of patient has the disease rather than what kind of disease the patient has.
