Abstract

This symposium is a big event not only for Bill Little, but for all of us. It is truly a big event for me because all of my scientific life has been greatly affected by his creative work. I first met Bill Little at the International Low Temperature Conference in Moscow in 1966. He was a major star at that convention, because everybody knew of the famous paper [1] he published in 1964.
