Abstract
Mantle cell lymphoma, a tumor derived from CD5-positive virgin B-cells of the follicular mantle zone, accounts for 5–10% of non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas in adults (Banks et al. 1992, Harris et al. 1994). It was originally described in the Kiel classification (Stansfeld et al. 1974) as centrocytic lymphoma.
