Abstract
Parasitology Research in France leans on a long tradition which, for more than one hundred years, has been continuously maintained in Research Institutes or Universities. The unique position of Pasteur Institutes in France and Overseas in this area of Medical and Veterinary Research certainly finds its origins in the pioneering work of Pasteurian parasitologists.
