Abstract
We have seen in the earlier sections how logic grammars may be developed for natural language applications. Now we shall consider the somewhat simpler problem of developing logic grammars for formal or programming languages. Many of the techniques used in the natural language applications are of course applicable. We begin with a grammar for logic programs; in a later chapter we consider a compiler for a simple traditional style programming language.
